ABOUT TĒRVETE
Tērvete is a Latvian cultural community in Grenville-sur-la-Rouge, Quebec, Canada. Founded by the Trinity Latvian Church of Montreal, Quebec in 1957, it acts as a hub of Latvian activity, culture and life for generations of families. The land covers 100 acres along the Rouge River, and has a private road that provides access to cottages, its summer camp facility and the Big House. Every year, hundreds have been able to share time together at Tērvete in the Laurentian countryside, immersed in nature and Latvian culture. Operation of the property is through the Tērvete Management Committee and Trinity Latvian Church.
