Tervete is a Latvian cultural community in Grenville-sur-la-Rouge, Quebec, Canada. Founded by the Trinity Latvian Church of Montreal, Quebec in 1957, it acts as a hub of Latvian activity, culture and life for generations of families. The land covers 100 acres along the Rouge River, and has a private road that provides access to cottages, its summer camp facility and the Big House. Every year, hundreds have been able to share time together at Tervete in the Laurentian countryside, immersed in nature and Latvian culture. Operation of the property is through the Tervete Management Committee and Trinity Latvian Church.

Located in the heart of the Laurentians halfway between Montreal and Ottawa, the area provides many opportunities to explore, learn and unwind.
The Big House acts as the hub of community and events in Tervete, where many gather to catch up, spend the night or just to sing a folk song.
There are several options for staying in Tervete. Rooms at the Big House can be booked by the night (from $25), week, or season. Camping within Tervete is also available. To request availability, please enquire with rez@tervete.org.
