About Tervete

Tervete is a Latvian cultural and spiritual community located in Grenville-sur-la-Rouge, Quebec, Canada. Originally purchased in 1957 by the Trinity Latvian Church of Montreal, the estate acts as a hub of Latvian activity for generations of families. The estate covers over 100 acres along the Rouge River traversed by a private road that provides access to cottages, the summer camp facility, and the communal Lielā Māja (Big House). Every year, residents, guests, and visitors come to Tervete to enjoy each other’s company, to contemplate nature’s wonders, and to receive spiritual renewal.
